UsH Industries has been awarded a multi-year grid resilience and cyber-physical protection contract following a competitive tender process conducted by a major Southern European energy transmission system operator. The contract, effective Q2 2025, covers hardening of critical transmission infrastructure against both physical attack and cyber intrusion.
Under the contract, USH will deploy a layered protection framework combining physical perimeter hardening, sensor-based intrusion detection, and a cyber-physical monitoring layer integrated with the operator's existing SCADA systems. The solution is designed to provide continuous situational awareness and automated alert escalation to the operator's security operations center.
A key element of the program is the integration of Fractalysium's threat intelligence feed, which will provide the operator with advance warning of threat actor activity in the surrounding region enabling proactive rather than reactive response posture.
"Energy infrastructure is now a primary target in hybrid warfare. Hardening these assets is not optional for any European operator it is an obligation to their societies."
This contract adds to USH's growing European energy security portfolio. The division is currently engaged in similar assessments with two additional transmission operators and one major gas storage facility operator across the continent.
